Roof Repair Smedway handles Roof Replacement projects across Newport from full tear-off through final inspection, with a written scope you approve before anything is torn down.
A Roof Replacement project touches every layer of your roof system, from decking to final shingle course, and every layer matters for how long it lasts.
We also help Newport homeowners plan for material delivery timing so a Roof Replacement doesn't sit half-finished waiting on backordered shingles.
Every Roof Replacement crew lead carries current Newport, VT licensing and full insurance.
Local Newport crews mean project start dates aren't pushed out by weeks like out-of-area contractors.
Full written scope and price before any tear-off begins, covering materials, labor, and disposal.
We match material choice to Newport's climate exposure, not just the lowest bid.
Most Newport Roof Replacement projects combine two or three of these elements, not just one in isolation.
Old roofing is stripped down to the decking, with any rotted or damaged boards replaced before rebuilding.
Ice and water barrier gets installed at eaves and valleys per current code requirements.
Architectural shingles are installed to manufacturer nail patterns and exposure specs, not a rushed approximation.
Metal replacement costs more upfront but often outlasts asphalt by decades in the right climate.
Poor attic ventilation shortens the life of a new roof, so we assess and upgrade it as part of most Roof Replacement jobs.
We protect landscaping and driveways during tear-off and do a full magnetic nail sweep before leaving.
A Roof Replacement project involves more coordination than a repair call, so we keep communication clear at every stage.
A crew lead inspects your Newport roof in person and measures the full scope of work.
Pricing tiers by material are explained clearly before you commit to anything.
Once approved, the crew completes the Roof Replacement to manufacturer spec and provides full warranty documentation.
